The Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. presents the Striking Viking Story Pirates. The Story Pirates will perform 5 stories written by local students about the elections as a pre-presidential inauguration special. The stories are transformed into outrageous musical plays complete with props and puppets.

The Striking Viking Story Pirates have been described as "Monty Python meets Schoolhouse Rock" and Jon Stewart from The Daily Show has called them "crazy entertaining."

The Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center offers free daily performances. The program includes a range of art forms, with performing artists and groups from all 50 states as well as an Artist-in-Residence program with artists performing several evenings in a month.

The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. opened in 1971. The center makes every effort to fulfill President Kennedy's vision to producing and presenting a wide array of theater and musicals, dance and ballet, orchestral, chamber, jazz, popular, and folk music, and multi-media performances.
