The Sunday Forum at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. presents a discussion entitled "Exploring Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol" with British actor Martin Rayner, Professor John Glavin, and Cathedral Dean Sam Lloyd.

Martin Rayner is starring as Ebeneezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. He has made appearances on shows such as Frasier, Law and Order: CI, Dr. Who, and Star Trek Voyager.

John Glavin is a professor of English at Georgetown University, a playwright, and a Victorian literature scholar.

Construction for the Washington National Cathedral began in 1907 at a ceremony attended by President Theodore Roosevelt. The cathedral was finished in 1990 in the presence of President H. W. Bush. It is the second largest Gothic cathedral in the United States.
