In a take-off of the "Iron Chef" tv program, teachers have 10 minutes to create a science activity that can be used in the classroom from a special secret ingredient. This version of the program will have a secret Halloween ingredient, with science teachers battling to become the "Iron Science Teacher." Past episodes have showcased common, everyday items such as plastic bags, milk cartons, or nails.

The show, with science teachers from the San Francisco Bay Area, is held live in front of an audience at the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco, CA.
