Novelist Salman Rushdie discusses his new book, The Enchantress of Florence, with Nathan Englander at the 2008 Miami Book Fair International. The book tells the tale of a women "trying to forge her own destiny in a man’s world." Salman Rushdie is the author of nine other novels including the controversial book, The Satanic Verses, which won the Whitbread Prize for Best Novel. He co-edits Mirrorwork, a collection of contemporary Indian writing.
