Attorney Vernon Jordan, former adviser to Bill Clinton, will discuss his book Make It Plain: Standing Up and Speaking Out. The book is a celebration of African-American storytelling, preaching, and speechmaking. Vernon Jordan also formerly served as the president and CEO of the National Urban League. Currently, he is senior managing directof of Lazard Frères & Co., LLC in New York.
