The 14th Luna Philosophie session, called When Will We Discover the Extraterrestrials?, will feature Seth Shostak, Senior Astronomer at SETI Institute. SETI operates with a mission to "explore, understand and explain the origin, nature and prevalence of life in the universe."

Mr. Shostak will discuss new technologies being used to search for extraterrestrial biology as well as what this potential discovery could mean.

Luna Philosophie is a series of discussion coordinated by NASA CoLAb near full moons taking place in San Francisco, CA. The goal of the series is to bring NASA and space exploration to this community. NASA CoLab is a collaborative project between NASA and various communities.
