David Rakoff is a humorist and author of New York Times bestsellers Fraud and Don't Get Too Comfortable. He contributes regularly to The New York Times Magazine and This American Life from Public Radio International. He is a writer-at-large for GQ and a correspondent for Outside.

Speakers in this session are:

Kelly Dobson -
Kelly is a researcher and doctoral candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While at MIT, Kelly developed "machine therapy" which is a study of machine design and its effects on everyday life. She is also the creator of Blendie, a voice-controlled blender. She also created ScreamBody, a device that can be worn on the front of the body. It is a wearable space for screaming when it is not socially acceptable to do so in the current environment.

Suzanne Seggerman -
Suzanne is President and co-founder of Games for Change (G4C), which uses digital games to confront contemporary issues such as global conflict, poverty, and the environment. G4C is parnering with Microsoft, MTV, the United Nations, and a variety of NGOs to create these games. Suzanne was recently awarded a Digital Media and Learning Competition award from the MacArthur Foundation. Prior to co-founding G4C, she was a director of Web Lab, a new media think tank. Prior to that, she was a documentary film producer for PBS, where she worked on the Ken Burns/Stephen Ives PBS series "The West." Suzanne earned a BA from Kenyon College and a Masters degree from New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program.
