event description:

video webcast -

The Cato Institute in Washington, DC is holding a book forum with James Tooley, author of "The Beautiful Tree: A Personal Journey Into How the World's Poorest People are Educating Themselves." The book was inspired by his experiences in India, Africa, and China, where the poor are creating home-grown schools under the most challenging circumstances.

Reshma Lohia from Lohia's Little Angels school in India will also speak, as will Andrew Coulson from Cato.
