The Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. presents a Sunday Forum entitled "Making America a Less Violent Place" with Cathedral Dean Samuel T. Lloyd III and Paul Helmke. Paul Helmke is the president of the Brady Center for Prevention of Gun Violence.

Construction for the Washington National Cathedral began in 1907 at a ceremony attended by President Theodore Roosevelt. The cathedral was finished in 1990 in the presence of President H. W. Bush. It is the second largest Gothic cathedral in the United States.
