Watch the Fina/Arena Swimming World Cup live from Durban, South Africa. The World Cup circuit, sponsored by swim company Arena, lasts for 6 weeks and stops in 7 cities. The tour, which began in Brazil, also has upcoming stops in Sydney, Singapore, Moscow, Stockholm, and Berlin.

This slow-season competition, which has been running for 20 years, has a total purse of $1.1 million for male and female competitors. The tour meets for 2 days in each city and 34 events take place in each city. Pools are 25 meters long instead of the 50-meter long pools used in the Olympics. Michael Phelps, and most other 2008 Olympic medalists, are not entered in the World Cup. Fina is the international body that governs swimming.
