The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. presents a discussion on US-Iran: Lessons from the Past for the Present and Future. The panel will discuss diplomacy between the US and Iran for the last 30 years.

Speakers are:

- Giandomenico Picco - Former Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs, United Nations

- John Tirman - Executive Director, Principal Research Scientist and Director of Persian Gulf Initiative, Center for International Studies, MIT and Signatory to the Joint Expert Statement on Iran

- Robert Litwak - Director, International Security Studies, Woodrow Wilson Center Former Director for Nonproliferation, National Security Council

- Robin Wright - Journalist, Author and Public Policy Scholar, Woodrow Wilson Center

The Wilson Center was established in 1968 by an act of Congress as a living memorial to President Woodrow Wilson. The nonpartisan institution is supported by public and private funds and engages in the study of national and world affairs. It provides a neutral forum for lively, free, and informed dialogue.
