The Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. presents a Sunday Forum about Abraham Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation. The forum will feature Lincoln actor David Selby, Howard University history professor Edna Greene Medford, and Cathedral Dean Samuel T. Lloyd III.

Construction for the Washington National Cathedral began in 1907 at a ceremony attended by President Theodore Roosevelt. The cathedral was finished in 1990 in the presence of President H. W. Bush. It is the second largest Gothic cathedral in the United States.
