The Cato Institute in Washington, DC holds a book forum entitled "Falling Behind: Explaining the Development Gap Between Latin America and the United States." The discussion will focus on theories for the divergence in development between Latin America and the US, focusing on natural resources, culture, geography, institutions, and economic policies.

The panel will include:
