The Exploratorium Museum in San Francisco, CA hosts a Pi Day celebration. The holiday is held on 3/14 since pi is approximately equivalent to 3.14 (actually 3.1415926535.....). Exploratorium created the international holiday in 1988 to explore the nature of pi. Basically, for a circle with a diameter of 1, its circumference is pi.
