The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. hosts a lecture entitled "The Milky Way: Why We Need Her and How She Was Formed." Dr. Sandy Faber cover topics such as how the Milky Way was formed and recent discoveries regarding the Milky Way. Dr. Faber is University Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics (Lick Observatory) at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
