Princeton University holds its annual King Day celebration on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day. The celebration will include music by the Oasis Youth Steel Pan Ensemble and presentation of the MLK Day Journey Award to a Princeton faculty, staff, or student body member who embodies King's continued journey. The celebration will also include awards to local students (grades 4-12) as part of an essay, poster, and video contest.

Hugh Price will present the keynote address. He is the John Weinberg/ Goldman Sachs Visiting Professor of Public and International Affairs in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is also the former head of the National Urban League.
